I can’t believe my job actually exists. Walking, talking and eating my way through the neighbourhood that I love, devouring delicious food with amazing people from all corners of the globe, need I say more?!What makes London the greatest city on the planet?
There is something for everyone, it is the city of choice. Every street has a story to tell, or a museum to enter, a free gig to watch, an amazing market to eat at, art on the streets, a magical park to sit in, a pub on every corner, inspiration is everywhere you look! What is your hands-down favourite stop on our tour?

If I told you that, then it wouldn’t be a secret anymore, would it?

Not usually a sucker for sweets, the bread & butter pudding is my favorite food on the London tour.Don’t leave London without doing what?
I think everyone should make their way out to visiting East London – it’s where so much of London’s vibrancy has moved out to, so it’s worth the trek. What is that you love about London?
London is such a big, cosmopolitan city and it seems to have a bit of everything. I love the London museums, theatre and even the London underground!

The biggest perk about working for Eating London Food Tours is…
I get to work with the smartest group of people I’ve ever met – who all also love to travel and try new things. What could be better? Oh, and I get to work from home, too! Can’t beat it.What is your hands down favorite stop on our tour?
Beigel Bake! Because I have never tasted a bagel quite so good (and I’ve had a lot of great bagels)- topped with cured beef- honestly… can NOT beat it.So you’re hosting a dinner party. What knock out dish are you going to prepare?
Nothing! Just because I love food doesn’t mean I can cook it. I’d ask my husband to cook (and he’d decide what is on the menu too)!Don’t leave London without doing what?
One of our tours, of course! And do it on one of your first days here because they are filled with tons of tips and recommendations that will be useful for your entire stay. Sorry to be a pusher but it’s true.

The biggest perk about working for Eating London Food Tours is…
My colleagues. Seeing how much the tour guides really love London and the food on the tour. Interacting with people who are going on the tour or have been on the tour is great too. I’ll never get tired of hearing people talk about how much they enjoyed their experiences and liked the guides. What makes London one of the greatest cities on the planet?
I love how multicultural it all is. As someone who has grown up travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world, I just love that London seems to have it all. People say there are over 300 languages spoken in the city, and there are embassies and clubs for every country on the planet. This trickles down into the food, drinks, festivals and just about every other part of the life in London. What is your hands-down favorite stop on our tour?
I don’t think I could say ‘hands-down’, but I just LOVE a good bacon sandwich, so St John Bread and Wine would take it for me. Before I did the tour I was told that it would be the best bacon sandwich I had ever eaten, I was more than a little skeptical, but it was. Absolutely lovely stuff!Don’t leave London without doing what?
This one really depends on your age, but I would say a good pub on a Friday evening. It doesn’t matter what the weather is doing, if you get to a London pub at 6pm on a Friday you’ll have a great time, the atmosphere will be buzzing and everyone will be in a great mood. Of course, you have to have done the Eating London tour first, to make sure you’re ready for that cold beer!

FOOD TOUR GUIDE

The biggest perk about working for Eating London Food Tours is…
Bread and Butter pudding. Need I say more. What makes London one of the greatest cities on the planet?
“It is not a pleasant place; it is not agreeable, or cheerful, or easy, or exempt from reproach; it is only magnificent.” Henry James, 1869What is your hands-down favorite stop on our tour?
Got to be the English Restaurant. It’s a kind place with soul… and old fashioned pudding is close to my heart. I have a killer sweet tooth. The sign that reads ‘No Laptops’ just sums it up. In trendy East London it’s a god-send to find somewhere that is more likely to seat Miss Marple than a graphic designer. Coming in a very close second is Pride of Spitalfields- ale is another of my life’s passions. What is London’s best kept secret?
Lamachuns. It’s a Turkish pizza type thing, averaging about £1.50 a pop. Dreamy all times of the day or night. Just head to Hackney and those Turkish Kebab shops will sort you out.
